Our campsite in Alsace Bossue is located in a Natura 2000 area. It’s an ideal nature destination! To discover it in immersion, what better way than by bike and hiking?

Starting from our campsite on the edge of theEurovélo 5, enjoy 4 signposted bike trails, ranging from 10 to 22 km, to discover all the different facets of our region: plains, forests, villages and the canal. Tours on request at the reception of your campsite or downloadable from the website of the Alsace Bossue Tourist Office.

Are you more of a walker? Discover the local hiking trails and set out to discover the mysterious Bonnefontaine forest, just a few steps away. Ask for your brochure at the reception or download it here.

In summer, experience the unique experience of a flat-bottomed boat trip from Sarrewerden to discover the special features of life on the Saar. By reservation only, with the Tourist Office of Alsace Bossue at 03 88 00 40 39.

Finally, during the summer months, explore the landscape by rail, but without the train! Climb aboard a rail bike and pedal through the countryside at your own pace, with or without electric assistance. An activity as fun as it is unusual! A campsite in Alsace Bossue for families

Just a 10-minute drive from the campsite in Alsace Bossue, the Parc Nature de Cheval welcomes you to a fantastic medieval setting. Mini-farm, horse shows, activities on flora and nature, wooden games, picnic baskets from the region will delight young and old during a day of change of scenery!
To discover Harskirchen and its heritage in a fun way, go on a Randoland adventure! Suitable for children from 4 to 12 years old, Randoland offers you a walk punctuated with riddles that will reveal the unique history of the town that was once the administrative capital of the Counts of Nassau! The best part: the walk starts at the campsite gates and a small gift will be offered to the children who bring the right answers!

Don’t hesitate to pick up your game cards at the campsite reception or at the Tourist Office in Lorentzen. And if you liked the experience, try it again in Lorentzen, Diemeringen or Dehlingen! In a caravan, a tent or a motor home, you can take your place on a pitch between the canal and the pond and make the most of the open air. Are you looking for a holiday rental in Alsace? The campsite also offers atypical accommodation: lodge tents that are very open to nature, but which offer all the comfort you would expect from a chalet or a mobile home.

The rich heritage of Alsace Bossue

In the village of Dehlingen, the archaeological heritage interpretation centre La Villa
will reveal the secrets of archaeological research and the Gallo-Roman past of Alsace Bossue. Numerous workshops and events for the general public give you the chance to put yourself in the shoes of an archaeologist in real-life conditions, on the Gurtelbach site where a Gallo-Roman farm has been unearthed.
Alsace Bossue is also rich in the history of the Counts of Nassau, whose legacy includes the Château de Lorentzen and numerous religious buildings such as the Stengel churches. The castle site of Lorentzen also hosts the Grange aux Paysages, the nature and environment education center, its permanent exhibition which will reveal the secrets of the characteristic landscapes of Alsace Bossue, and animations and workshops for the general public throughout the year. You will also find theAlsace Bossue Tourist Office, a real showcase for the region.

Our campsite in Alsace near Germany and Saarland

A stay at the Cœur d’Alsace campsite near the Vosges du Nord also means taking advantage of its proximity to Germany and the landscapes surrounding the river Sarre, which gave its name to the state of the same name. When you choose a campsite near the German border, it’s easy to visit Germany whenever you like, especially the Saarland region, where there’s no shortage of tourist attractions.
